Mini 1275 GT in cascais Final by RJamp Mini 1275 GT in cascais Final by RJamp
Mini 1275 GT WIP. Trying to make a complete 3d environment and understanding correctly Cinema 4D rendering options and capabilities.

This has Global illumination and a physical sky with a sun light at the end of a summer day (17.00pm.) No Vray.

The car mesh is mine as is some stuff in the rest of the image. Some buildings and objects are part of a Poser file ( by Stonemason) imported into Cinema 4D.

From WIP3 i changed some textures in the scene (doors, walls, graffiti, etc.), improved lightning (i think), changed the scooter color, and added lots of normal maps made in photoshop. Also added the other side of the environment so it reflects on the car.

I think i have done all of the texturing by now. I don't know if the car should have any color changed or any detail added...

If some Cinema 4d user could give me some tips on this, i would appreciate it :) I am not a experienced user in Cinema4D.

Press download to see some details.

Hope you like it so far.

I think i will leave this one done as it is, unless someone gives me a direction otherwise, if i can make those changes (me not PRO). :)

Really great looking scene! I thought you were going to make the car look a little older, like with blemishes and such. The paint looks perfect, like it was brand new. I understand about the repeating pattern in the brick wall, but the parts where it is mirrored really stand out to me, especially along the Cascals sign.

Its still really great work, and you should be proud.

I really thought that shading and materials would be easier in C4D... Still training on adding dust and muddy spots... Yes... colored like this and with the normal maps the repeating pattern is accentuated... :/

Thanks man! :)

Really nice work and great for practice and learning. I could use some of that learning. I'm not that great with textures.

You are welcome! B-)

Very good your scene, i am not a Pro too but Normal does not use Photoshop Filter, it does not use the lights in your scene, just a light 2d. when your scene is ready, you create normal maps with c4d. you click an object with texture in the hierarchy, you're in the panel "Render", you choose "bake texture" in the new panel you choose the size of your base texture, JPEG, you click "Normal " and "Bake ". C4D created the normal map in your C4D file. Then you imported your normal map in your texture and you choose the option "Object". if you move your lights, you have to redo your normal map. You can create all the "Bake texture" of all channels of course. try results are much more beautiful and spectacular, here is the explanation for a still image:) I hope you understand my bad English
